Marion the owner/operator and her husband were superb host. They will go way out for every detail of your needs. Browns b&b would be my first choice accommodation should I go to Edinburgh again.

The friendly and very helpful Marion (and husband), and the nice, cosy and clean room with bathroom. It´s location, it was very easy to walk both to Ocean terminal and Princess street (and city). Very near buses and a Tesco if you needed to buy anything. Close to restaurants and pubs. We will return!

The Browns have thought of every little detail. It was a lovely guest house with a terrific breakfast. Very clean, well appointed, easy walking or bus ride to the sights, and friendly hosts.

Marion was very warm and welcoming. Nothing was any trouble. The Guest house was spotless, breakfast fantastic. Husband a hive of information and a character. Both were fantastc hosts.
Everything was fantastic and it hasn't got any faults. We have stayed in many B & B's and Hotels and this has been in our top 3.

Room was very comfortable, and it's the little extra's that Marion provides that makes it a home from home.

Warm welcome, good location (10 min walk to city center), spotless.
Bathroom too small - in our room, the toilet was almost in the shower.

Excellent service and good food provided by the owners and the rooms were very clean and well taken care of.
We had issues with the shower - it was either scalding hot or freezing cold - no in between so we had very uncomfortable showers. Also, someone was smoking in one of the rooms during the time when we were there and my husband is allergic to smoke so that disrupted what would have been a pleasant stay.

We stayed for 5 nights at this nice comfortable B&B, run by the owners who were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for them. Breakfast cooked to order. Location is great, being 15-20 mins walk from the Railway Station/Princes Street. Several buses pass the end of the road (25 metres) going to City centre and Ocean Terminal

Owners were very helpful and friendly. Just a 10 minute walk to Waverly station. Room was clean and comfortable.
B & b is non-smoking but owners smoke and live downstairs so can smell and taste tobacco smoke as soon as you enter the door. Bathroom in my room was awkward as toilet was in a tight spot in the shower wet room.

We were very impressed with our stay at Browns Bed and Breakfast. We needed somewhere that was central as we were in Edinburgh for the Madonna concert at Murrayfield Stadium. It was clean, modern, comfortable and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was lovely and we would definitely recommend this b&b to anyone who wants to see Edinburgh as it´s close to everything that you need.
